Harvest Festival

Harvest Fest 2025 — Join Us October 11th!

Ferndale Community Services invites you to our second annual Harvest Fest, a FREE, family friendly celebration of community, culture, and connection! The festival takes place Saturday, October 11, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Pavilion Community Center (2007 Cherry St, Ferndale, WA).

What to Expect

  • Cultural Fair: Experience Dia de los Muertos traditions, cedar weaving from the Lummi Nation, and more cultural demonstrations and learnings.

  • Resource Fair: Meet nonprofits from all over Whatcom County sharing their work; explore opportunities to connect and get support.

  • Live Performances: Music, dance, and fun performances to enjoy.

  • Fun Family Activities: Face painting, pumpkin painting, zucchini races (bring your own zucchini, max width 4¼″), costume swaps, and more. Something for every age.

  • Free Food: Fresh, hot chili and chicken noodle soup served while supplies last.

Special Moment: WCEL Grant Presentation at 2:00 PM

We are honored to announce that WCEL will be recognized during the event with a special grant presentation at 2:00 PM. Join us at that time to celebrate WCEL and learn more about how this grant will support our community.

Things to Know

  • Bring a zucchini (no wider than 4″) if you would like to enter in the zucchini race.

  • Costumes welcome, especially if you want to swap.

  • Free admission. Just show up ready for a good time.
