FERNDALE TODDLER TIME
LITTLE ONES PLAYGROUP
Lynden’s Kaleidoscope Play and Learn opportunity
Come one, come all!
The Whatcom Center for Early Learning staff has joined with the Lynden School district to help host the Little One’s Playgroup at the City Bible Church on the corner of Main Street and Guide Meridian in Lynden.
This fun playgroup is intended as a play date for parents/caregivers and their children ages 0-5. We will be playing in a classroom specially designed for our youngest children. You and your child can expect to find a book corner, housekeeping corner, sensory table, craft activities, blocks and fine motor toys that support early literacy and general development. We will also include singing and playing in the new gym. This is a great place to play with peers and meet other parents.
DAYS/DATES: Most Wednesdays while school is in session.
TIME: 10-11:30 AM
A Kaleidoscope Play and Learn opportunity in partnership with Ferndale school district.
Come one, come all!
Most Tuesday during the school year you can find the WCEL classroom staff at the Ferndale American Legion at 5537 2nd Ave. hosting a drop in play day for children ages birth to five. We specialize in children under the age of three but welcome families with preschool age children. We partner with the Ferndale school district to provide early learning and literacy experience for children 0-5.
There you will find a variety of wheeled toys, balls, and sensory pool filled with rice. Play dough, books, puzzles, cars, trains, doll house and dramatic play area, blocks of several types and 2 new creative hands-on activities for young ones and their parents each week.
We play for a little over an hour, clean-up and then bring out the parachute and sing. The morning ends with a small snack while listening to a special short story to tide you over till you arrive home. Families are free to leave anytime your child has had enough.
DAY/DATES: Tuesdays during the school year except holidays
