Ferndale Toddler Time
"I am educated in Early Childhood Education (ECE), and your program is so great! Everything from the timing and activities to even the clean up and sequence of events!"
“All the different stations are great! My 9 month and 3 year old both have things to do.”
“My kids have an opportunity to try lots of things. We also like learning the songs and we sign them at home.”
“I like that my littles get to learn and have fun and interact with others. Plus, it makes for good naps afterwards!”
About the Program
Ferndale Toddler Time meets every Wednesday during the school year (except the 2nd Wednesday of the month and holidays). We meet from 10-11:30 at the American Legion Hall in Ferndale. This is a busy drop-in play and socialization opportunity. We ask for a $2.00 donation per child to help with expenses. Families who come can expect to have activities that excite and challenge all areas of development. Many children and caregivers meet friends or make new friends at Ferndale Toddler Time. The Ferndale School District provides early literacy activities and 2 story times each week during this program. Perhaps the most popular activity is the Parachute song time as we wind down and get ready to go home.
“I love the opportunity to meet new people in my community and a chance for my children to interact with others.”
“Everything is always well organized and the children always have a good time.”
“The variety is great! I have two boys that are complete opposites and they both have enough to be excited about every week!”
“I like the time that it is offered and that there are so many wonderful activities-we love it!”
