Resources A Thank You letter from the Smit family Toddler Survives Daunting Odds Dominic Andersen is an alert and seemingly content toddler. He likes to dance, watch cartoons, swing and play outside. He is quick to laugh or smile. He also is extremely lucky to be alive. Sean's Experience at WCEL (1986-1988) Hi, my name is Myla Musselwhite and my son Sean was a client at WCEL from 1986-1988. Beth and the Birth-to-Three Program Our daughter, Beth, was born on March 29, 2002. At two months of age, she was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder. This news was shock to us as the pregnancy was healthy and there was no family history of illness. Beth was enrolled at Whatcom Center for Early Learning soon after the test results came back and has now been attending for two years. Letter from Brooke Brennan's Family Our family moved to Bellingham from Colorado in October of 1988. We were anxious to find an early learning support system for Brooke who was then 2-1/2 years old. She had been born with Down Syndrome and had made it through open heart surgery at the tender age of 9 months. |
