Ferndale Toddler Time

Ferndale Toddler Time (ages 0 to 5 years)

Ferndale Toddler Time allows children from birth to five and their families a weekly parent-toddler session. Children with and without special needs learn to play together and families connect with each other. Parents or caregivers are responsible for their children at all times. Children with special needs enrolled in WCEL may receive services during FTT, per their Individual Family Services Plan.

Weekly Sessions include:

  • Small motor skills activities: Play-doh, blocks or drawing
  • Large motor skills activities: big toys or small bikes
  • Snack time
  • Circle time for songs or books
  • Information about child development
  • Information about local resources for children with special needs
  • Parent support

When: Wednesdays
Dates: Fall 2010 
Where: Ferndale Boys & Girls Club, 2015 Cherry Street in Ferndale
Cost: Donations of $2 per child or $3 per family per session requested to
 help cover program costs
